Heartstrings is a community choir for special needs individuals ages ten to adult. This participation choir is open to individuals of all abilities and disabilities, including verbal and non-verbal, walking, and wheelchairs. It is open to any child or adult whose parent/caregiver would like them to be a part of this group. Rehearsals for Spring 2026 begin Monday, February 9, 2026. They are held from 5:30-6:20 pm in the choir room at First United Methodist Church, 304 South Commerce Avenue in Russellville. The performance for this semester will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026. There is no charge to be involved in this group.

Heartstrings performs concerts each semester as well as performing in community events such as Augsburg Fall Fest and Hometown Christmas in Dover. They also are a part of the Winter's Night fundraiser event. To register for this choir, click the link below.
