Tuesdays - 4 to 4:45 pm

Spring Start Date: January 16      Spring Final Date: April 24

Cost: $60/semester (sibling discount $40/semester per child)

This is now a semester class.  Each semester will be a different subject, such as vocal class, music theory (in-depth note and rhythm reading), instruments (history, construction, use), composition, audio equipment operation, recording, and more.

The subject for the fall class will be composition.  Students will learn how to construct and use simple chords and chord patterns and create a melody and vice versa using pre-existing text (poem, scripture, etc.).  Most composing work will be done on GarageBand.  Students owning an iPad or iMac laptop are encouraged to use their own equipment to allow for more independent work.
